#7 - The Wolf Within Me

I'm interested in inner strength.
The kind of strength that doesn't always show on the outside. The strength to endure when things are difficult. To stand firm when you're tested. To protect the people you love. To face your own failures. To keep going when no one is watching.
The Wolf Within Me explores the idea that some of our greatest strength comes from what lives inside us.
The wolf is not literally present in the painting.
It is in his eye.
That golden eye represents the wolf within him—the instinct, courage, resilience, independence, and determination that reside beneath the surface.
I wanted to explore the idea that true strength isn't necessarily what the world sees.
A man can appear calm while carrying enormous burdens.
He can be vulnerable and still be strong.
He can experience failure and still rise again.
He can be compassionate without surrendering his strength.
He can choose restraint when he has the power to act.
Inner strength is not about being unbreakable. It's about discovering what remains when you are broken, tested, or afraid—and choosing to stand again.
It is not perfection.
It is not toughness for the sake of toughness.
But the strength that comes from knowing who you are, what you believe, who you love, and what you are willing to stand for.
The Wolf Within Me is my exploration of that strength.
The wolf is already there.
The question is what we choose to do with it.
